Around the Schliersee

The summer

In summer you can go mountain biking, hiking, swimming, walking, windsurfing, boating or SUPing (stand-up paddling).

Stroll through the streets of the town with its individual, mostly owner-managed shops and explore the beautiful cafés and beer gardens in Schliersee.

Rental stations for (e) bikes, pedalboats or motorboats can be reached on foot within a few minutes. SUPs are available free of charge directly at the Seeheimat.

On foot or by cable car you reach the Schliersbergalm with its wonderful view over the lake. If you do not want to make the way back on foot, you have the opportunity to head back to the valley directly with the summer toboggan run.

In a few minutes drive to the Spitzingsee, which is located at 1084 m altitude. From there you can explore the surrounding peaks and huts by cable car or on foot.

For nature and outdoor lovers there are many possibilities, on foot, by bike or the SUP directly from the Seeheimat to start beautiful trips and to get to know the wonderful environment.
