Around the Schliersee

The winter

In winter you can go skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, touring, tobogganing, walking and directly from the shore of Seeheimat - weather permitting - ice skating or play ice hockey.

Stroll through the streets of the village with its individual, mostly owner-managed shops and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or mulled wine in one of the beautiful cafes and restaurants in Schliersee.

On foot or by cable car you reach the Schliersbergalm with its wonderful view over the lake and the snow-covered mountains.

In just a few minutes drive you reach the two largest ski areas in the region, at Spitzingsee and in Bayrischzell. Countless cross-country trails are in the immediate vicinity.

For nature and outdoor lovers, there are many possibilities, directly from the Seeheimat, to go on nice excursions and get to know the wonderful surroundings.
